He's pretty interesting. Hearing just how easy hacking can be and what all they can get into. A lot of verbiage that was over my head as I'm not a tech guy, but still interesting to hear it all. That was the focus on the first half.

The second half is all about the dark web, child predators and how they're trying to help catch them.

Phenomenal actor. His voice is still one of the most recognized in Hollywood for me. He had his demons with alcohol and that eventually caught up to him. But that doesn't take away his ability to tell a story, and doesn't negate his faith journey. Glad he's still trying to leave behind a better legacy. Honestly, Mel's journey of having all the fame and taking the chance on being more vocal about his faith, and then battling through struggles then pulling his way back, is one of the more authentic stories of a Christian you'll find. Can't speak to any of your "facts and truths", but I can speak to the numbers the government put up (I know, the government does occasionally function as intended) during his tenure.

I just made a post without even reading the whole thread. I'm in line with you. It really is a great episode and completely eye opening to the evil that is out there (outside of your every day murders, war criminals, etc.).

On a quick side note, the Shawn Ryan show really has some fantastic guests on there. I started with a lot of military operators but it seems he's really branching out more now into other topics which is great. Just hard to listen to them since they're all so long. Have to really pick your episodes.

Shawn Ryan show quickly became one of my favorite listens. Highly suggested. The episodes on eddie gallagher, blackwater, buck sexton, Ryan Montgomery, Yeonmi Park, etc. the list goes on. All great and very eye opening.

I don't do enough. I've been in and out - passionate and then pacified by the rest of life. Especially the last few years. I'm not trying to portray something different.

Nothing is more clear though. This has to be taken up and championed by us bc our countries leadership isn't going to do anything as many of the most powerful are involved
