All wanted a safe, effective vaccine. Many were skeptical, many knew they were being mislead, many wandered just how far they were mislead and made a decision.

A "vaccine" was made, car plants were retooled to make ventilators, ships were moved to take care of people and the list goes on. Trumps only fault in this was to trust everyone around up him in a "national crisis" as he thought everyone was on the same team in saving America.

As time went on trump encouraged the shot, never mandated it, but all Democrats said they don't trust it. As soon as the Democrats were in charge Biden and Kamala said everyone should have and then shoved it down outer throats, mandating it, having people lose jobs etc.

Now all Democrats are looking for someone to blame and the blame Trump?and that he should have fired fauci. Fauci was the lefts nation hero. This was all expected as there is another election coming up. Let the white washing begin. Ohhh am I allowed to say white washing?

"Trumps vaccine" was a success and saved thousands of lives, specifically when it was initially administered to the elderly and at risk and the original strain (and to a lesser extent Delta) was dominant. However, once Omicron became dominant, the vaccine was pointless (even for at risk people) and the fact that it was still pushed (and even more egregiously was pushed on and in some cases forced on young and healthy people) when it became somewhat apparent that it was pointless is what really made the vaccine unpopular. That part wasn't Trumps fault, but politics is a tough sport with little room for nuance.

I couldn't give much of **** about covid and don't hold too much of against Trump at all... hell, I thought he was generally a great president that was treated way unjustly.

But none of that changes the fact he's done nothing but get older and move left... his kindergarten antics - that maybe he needed to get elected - ultimately caused him to not get reelected... and yet he hasn't learned a damn thing from it. He's made himself into a washed up, has been that needs to ride off into the sunset and enjoy life instead of attacking conservatives.

It was known very early on that it was not going to kill 20% of the population and the people vulnerable to it were the elderly, those with weak/damaged immune systems, the obese, diabetics, and those with uncontrolled high blood pressure, and most of them would survive it. However, the psyops coming out of China from January onward made people believe it was Super Airborne Ebola AIDS and the media and Democrats gladly went along with it to scare the population.

China said to put everyone on ventilators, which they knew was the absolutely worst thing to do. It was almost a 100% death sentence, but hospitals across the US went along with it; some locations even mandating it for anyone admitted to the hospital with the virus. Then they were pumped full of Remdesivir which is poison and killed a lot of people; but that is what Fauci said to use. Only God knows how many people died because of these two things who would have otherwise survived the virus with just supportive care.

The hospitals ships were barely used because they were not needed. Sending them was for optics of "doing something." Hospitals were not overwhelmed except in places like NYC where they funneled all of the patients to a few locations which quickly became overcapacity while other hospitals had no WuFlu patients at all.

Remember, anything Trump suggested, HCQ, Ivermectin, etc. were instantly torpedoed by the media, Democrats, FDA, CDC, Fauci, etc. Trump let all of them walk all over him. He chose the absolute worst people possible to run the federal government response, including Pence, spent trillions on it, and attacked governors like Kemp and DeSantis for opening up their states quickly.

Trump did get some stuff right; but he got far more wrong in the long run and was one of the reasons it ended up being close enough where the Democrat voter fraud was able to flip the election outcome.

Trump never advocated for ivermectin (at least not while he was president, he may have mentioned something about it after he was out of office). He did say HCQ showed promise and that was largely blown out of proportion (and of course became an immediate political football with anti trump claiming HCQ was dangerous and pro-trumpers claiming it was a miracle drug).

Trump takes beatings on here now because he is a terrible candidate for 2024 and has dealt the GOP multiple brutal losses (see Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania). No one has dismissed he good he did do as President, but none of it entitles him to be the nominee now. Trump is no way the same person he was in 2016 or even 2020.
