Trans/Drag are 1) a very small population and 2) not at all their market demographic historically. Someone in their marketing office just lobbed this grenade out there. The climate and fossil fuel thing makes a heck of a lot more sense as a stance for them....This just seems like and SNL skit.

Northface and Patagonia used to be the only games in town. There's better options now available for outdoor hiking and cold weather gear, so that's not helping them either.

Hell the rich kids don't wear northface these days, everyone knows Canada Goose is what you buy when you want everyone to know you're parents are rich but you have no intention of ever going out into the frozen tundra.

trans market segment is minuscule, but thanks to TikTok celeb influencers, big pharma, and bought and paid for therapists and physicians, it's growing exponentially fast. I also think the Bill Gates, Klaus Schwabs, and the cabal of elites who run the world are very concerned about overall population growth rates and overpopulation of our planet. They've been able to gain influence with CEOs and on boards of the largest PE & investment firms and the bulge banks & financial institutions as well as permanent government bureaucracies and elected politicians that think they make the world go around. Seriously cannot figure out why a CEO of a publicly traded company allows this stuff at the company they are running! Sell what ever it is you sell but why do they all have to pander to the .01% of the population that do not purchase their product.

This behavior makes me think of a small child that acts out and throws tantrums in public. If you give them the attention that they crave they always act out because they get the response. If you ignore the behavior, remove them from the place or swat that azz it ends quickly. This is what happened when we ended swats and started with time outs.

This is exactly what created the "Concerned Moderate".

They caved to the liberals (children) so they'd stop saying mean things. It created an entire population of Mitt Romney "conservatives". 2016 - 2020 was the single greates temper tantrum ever in the US. The civil war was fought for reasons - 16 - 20 was 100% liberal temper tantrum because some girl lost some thing in 2016.

One of my best friends works for Wrangler (in Marketing) & said the woke crap is being pushed & tossed around daily there as well. He said the bud light fiasco was not a surprise at all to him bc the same crap is being pushed by liberal white women at wrangler (& at all companies). He said no way he lasts another year there.

Hope their executives can refrain from getting pressured into it (bc that is exactly what all of this is), otherwise it's just a matter of time until they are on the f16 front page.

Yeah, I've done a decent amount of hiking and climbing in my life (not lately) and I don't own any Northface. Not out of protest...there has just been other stuff out there for several years now that caught my eye and has proven it's quality. My other two buddies that I did most of my outdoor stuff with do not own any Northface either.

Maybe if I ever decide to tackle Brokeback Mountain then I'll consider Northface for that climb. I'll definitely need the most gusseted crotch ever devised though. It's liable to get nasty up there from what I've heard, and I'll need optimal freedom of movement.

TNF is solid gear and I get a hefty discount with them.
