I believe he did...he explicitly called out the Republican held House and how they have the power of the purse. Slash the budgets of the alphabet agencies and you get them to heel very quickly.

Of course the legacy media will absolutely lose their collective minds (I use the term "mind" VERY loosely) but if he has the resolve it could work. The problem is when the alphabet groups start unloading all the blackmail material they have on select House members.

It certainly won't be easy and very ugly but I don't think DeSantis will be unnerved by it. Personally I'd love it if they had blackmail material on some RINO House members, quicker than primarying them.

His main donors donated big to Trump previously, though I don't think he will be able to get the heir to Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer like Trump bragged about getting financed by.

It will take Billions to win this election and even though Trump is a Billionaire he has made it clear he isn't spending his own money. That requires donations. That's just the game. At least DeSantis has shown that donating to him won't change his policies or give you special access.

By RINO donors, are you talking about Anheuser Busch? Or pro abortion activists?

I can't remember any other politicians campaign launch except Trump. These things don't matter.

This...that's one of Trump's strong suits...he would have boldly proclaimed this as an amazing thing and a lot of people would have eaten it up. Desantis isn't as good at lying or spinning or whatever you want to call it.
