It's almost like Trump is trying to sabotage his own campaign. I think the reality of DeSantis officially announcing has him back on his heels and has him rattled because he knows DeSantis is going to win. He should have backed out with dignity while he could. DeSantis is so much better in interviews, in policy discussion, and in actually getting things done and fighting the left successfully. It was flat for an announcement and the tech issues hurt for sure. I don't think it was this incredible epic disaster though, in the end it crashed because almost 700k people were trying to dial in and it was going up, probably would have gone over a million. Easy enough to spin that and he is going straight into a series of interviews and events. They brought this up briefly and mentioned that they started the talk logged in under Elon's acct and when they switched to the moderator's acct it worked much better. That said the conversation was outstanding and it definitely has a use, just not for an announcement. I expect DeSantis will come back for more of these. Some people don't care for it but it's fantastic for people that enjoy real discussion of issues and an open format.
