And I saw one headline yesterday saying that Christie was surging in one N.H. poll and another claiming polling evidence that N.H. voters see Biden as the best chance for the Dems to remain in power. Both of those headlines are completely contradictory to many, many other recent "polls" and anecdotal evidence.

Exactly. And people should be asking why Haley is spending money and time attacking DeSantis instead of Trump. If 1) Haley really was trying to get the top spot as opposed to just a spot in Trump's admin, and if 2) DeSantis were truly dropping like a rock in real life (i.e. not polls) then wouldn't she be gunning for Trump and not even worry what DeSantis is doing?

They are. Right now the Democrats are letting Trump pretty much do and say whatever he wants.

The lawfare against him is perfectly time to help him win the primary because it enrages MAGA and generates sympathy.

If the gets the nomination, the next day the media and Democrats are going to unload a full nuclear strike on him and will continue until the election. If they can time it right, Trump will be campaigning from a prison cell, or the GOP will be forced to dump him. Either way the election result would be the same.

Trump and his acolytes have given the media enough ammo for the next 25 years. Not only will they hang all of his insane "truths" around his neck, along everything put out by Laura Loomer, Raheem Kassam, Jason Miller, etc.
