Nothing says "establishment" like eliminating entire federal bureaucratic agencies.
So is this something that doesn't move the needle for you, FireAg? Or does it need to be directed at Trump and be some nonsensical derogatory name to count? Except you don't want that, either because "we need the MAGA vote and can't ruffle their feathers"?
Show me ONE ****ing time I have EVER said DeSantis is "establishment"...ONE TIME...
Reading comprehension is something a lot of you need work on...it's pretty pathetic how bad some of you are at it...
I am NOT "anti-DeSantis"...I'll happily pull the handle for him in November 2024 if he's at the top...
And I have NEVER said otherwise...
So take your bull**** schtick and shove it...
Woah there, brother... I did not mean to insinuate that you had (thus the paragraph break). Read what I wrote, not what you are thinking I wrote. My challenge to you is, does this meat your guidelines of "He needs to do something that grabs headlines" yet "don't anger MAGA" (the same way MAGA gets all the headlines)?
Jesus H. Christ, dude...I happen to like what RD says, including what is in the tweets above...
I have NEVER said otherwise...
But I am NOT the one you have to convince...there are 10s of millions of folks that are pro-Trump currently that do NOT follow every little morsel on Twitter...
Why the **** can't we have an open conversation with give and take on TexAgs without one side or the other being triggered and coming out guns blazing with every little ****ing discussion point?
And THAT is my point...BOTH of these camps need to work TOGETHER next November, no matter what...
I get what you are saying, I really do, but people (and especially the media) LOVE reporting on a train wreck, and right now, Trump is that train wreck. He is using all the oxygen in the room. He is the Jerry Springer of politics, and you just can't look away. I think relying on that sensationalism is a
very bad thing for our political and national health. Thinking that we need to operate the same way is just submitting ourselves to the problems that cause the mess we are in nationally to begin with. I want to see results instead of headlines.
I would love to work with the millions of Trump supporters to fix what is wrong with our country, but it won't fix anything if we just let slide the things actually causing the destruction, and Trump is encouraging that sort of thinking (just from the right instead of the left).
I will continue to point out that what Trump
says he wants to do, and the
actual results of what he does are not congruent, and that supporting him gets us further from our actual goals, even if it pisses off the MAGA crowd because it's true, and they need to see it. Look, I am no prophet, but the prophets weren't sent to the gentiles, they were sent to the Hebrews to point out where they were wrong.
