Having lived under the Newsom regime through Covid, I'm here to tell you a Newsom presidency will be the final nail.

After the country saw how Newsom governed how would he receive enough votes for POTUS from living people?

I think Biden will be the nominee, but I will be rooting for the Grim Reaper.

Wrong. Obama 3.0.

Biden only announcing for two reasons.

First, to not be investigated as a "sitting President" to protect him and Hunter. Yeah, it's hypocritical but it's what they will stand behind with the rest of the Media holding court.

Second, to not be seen as a lame duck already just 2.5 years in. Everyone knows it's a puppet game but it's still for looks.

My bet is Newsome or Michelle. If it's Michelle let's start grooming DeSantis for 2032.

My guess is the talking heads will slowly start to turn on Biden, only for Michelle Obama to step in

Emhoff/Israel/ADL is running Kamala. Is he of the same faction as Obama?

Not Michelle. She really doesn't want it.

But Newsom will have to hop to it if he wants to be on Dem primary ballots. He doesn't have the money to try to helicopter in late, like Bloomberg did, to no avail.

And Dem superdelegates do not work in the same manner as they used to.

You better hope she doesn't want it. Why wouldn't she? First female President is something to be talked about for nearly eternity.

Because she's allergic to work. Couldn't hack it at a law firm. Quit. Barely could manage a cushy Board position at 300K a year when she only had to show up a time or two a month, at that.

As First Lady, she took far more vacations than appearances to promote her husband's agenda, day for day.

She can't hack a 24/7/365 job, nor does she even want to pretend she does. If Barack presses her, she'll leave him.

She has repeatedly said she does not want to run. I don't think she will.

Regardless of who's the nominee, if you are still voting democrat in 2024 you are either an imbecile or hate America. It's sad, but there are enough of both that a Republican victory is in serious doubt.

Biden is winning comfortably right now against the Republican favorite, Trump.

I'm old enough to remember when folks on here swore Biden would be replaced by Harris a year or so into his first term.

It'll be Newsom vs. desantis and desantis will probably win.

Michelle Obama would absolutely beat ANY GOP candidate, but no way he wants that life and all that comes with it.

In my lifetime Republican presidencies typically end in economic destruction.

Michael obama would be hard to beat. I've feared they run since day one. The media will fall over themselves with lavish praise 24/7. Any disagreement with them will be immediately branded racist and sexist.
Newsome would be formidable as well because all most of the left care about are charisma (FJB aside). He has it. Even though he's a dope he would be tough to beat.

The only caveat I see with this take is that I see Michelle being able to win the Presidency, only to be the first President to involve the "First Man" in unprecedented fashion.... Perhaps even as Chief of Staff.

Her job would be the public face of the institution, while Barack would actually run the White House. It's working now with Dementia Joe, so why not?

If this happens, look for a more moderate Dem. They see blood in the water
