I wonder how many un-aimed rounds you could fire from an AR-15 in 8 seconds.

Seems like 8 seconds would give someone a chance to fight back vs a single shot rifle, regardless of the amount of damage done by one round. You can cover a lot more space with a semi-automatic rifle.

I'm pretty sure any rifle (excluding black powder) over .50 cal is considered a destructive device and regulated by the NFA. You have to go through the same ATF/FBI background check (9+ months, fingerprints, photos), pay for a tax stamp, and register it the same as you would a silencer, SBR, SBS, AOW, or Machine Gun. So anyone that legally obtains one of these is already going through much higher scrutiny than a regular gun purchase.

Any transaction outside of that process or possession by someone not registered as an individual or member of the trust that owns it would be punishable by a fine of up to $10K and up to 10 years in Federal Prison.

The ATF and DOJ do not **** around and will crucify your ass and shoot your dog if given the opportunity. You'll also likely have to do at least 80% of your sentence before you get out on parole. They'll make your life and those around you a living hell if you don't plead guilty and you have little chance of being found not guilty based on statistics. The punishment doesn't even come close to fitting the crime, but that is where we are when sleazy gun control advocates are given the power to enforce federal gun laws on behalf of their Democrat overlords.

That gun actually does the things that the gun control crowd claims the AR-15 does.

You realize no one has ever been able to replicate that speed with that rifle, correct? Not even the FBI or other trained professionals.

I do have an 8 Bore black powder shotgun. It was built in the late 1800s to early 1900s and due to its age FedEx left it on my front porch, no FFL required.

They fear what they are told to fear. That is why the weak, uneducated (having a college degree does not make one "educated"), ignorant, and lazy people are controlled so easily, manipulated to think that the government knows all and that what they say is best for them.

One just has to observe liberals for their emotions drives them and common sense is nonexistent.

That is why when facts are presented to a liberal, they quickly shut down and attack or when asked to provide facts as to what they believe, they have that "deer in the headlights" look.

There was a documentary that went through all the "myths" and quite convincingly disproved the conspiracy theories. I have little doubt that it was LHO acting alone as the shooter.

However, I remain open to theories about his motives and connections. I would posit that the focus on LHO and his ability to get the shots off and 'grassy knolls" is controlled misinformation to keep folks debating the wrong things.
