The guy from Bama did it to a total stranger in public, not one of his buddies while horsing around. HUGE difference there. You whip it out in public and you're lucky to avoid jail. The origin of the story is the NY Post, not NY Mag. The Post did the contacting of former employees that basically portray Crowder as an abusive boss, just like Landau said when announcing his new show, just like the former employees have implied on Twitter. I have zero doubt he did what's described in that story and I really don't see how anyone of any level of maturity can defend a 30-year-old man dropping his testicles on a subordinate. Crowder is not a good person presently.

You really aren't foolish enough to not see the differentiation between a group of entertainers that have built their brand out of being outrageous for entertainment and a person who purports to be a cultural leader/critic of society doing the same kind of non-sense behind the scenes, are you? That's nuts.

The guys on Jackass are paid pretty well to have testicles dipped on any body part that happens to be on camera, and they know that's a job requirement going into it. An employee of Crowder is not paid well (and rumored to occasionally not be paid at all) to have sweat painted on them.
