Was listening to Matt Walsh's Podcast today where he was speaking about Jazz Jennings. FWIW Walsh has very harsh words for Jennings' Mom but he was actually very sympathetic to Jazz. It's just tragic and terrible seeing this person who had parents start transitioning them at 4 and made them into a celebrity at 7 now start to deal with the reality of the life they are going to lead in their 20's after multiple surgeries and God knows how many hormones. At best they will be a lifelong medical patient that finds some level of peace and acceptance of what their life is trapped in a void between the sexes and unable to ever truly experience the best parts of being a male or female.
I just truly pity these kids and can't imagine how anyone can justify hormones or surgery to someone under 18 and realistically under 21. Starting sooner won't make it easier, it will only leave that kid later in life wondering what their life might have been had they waited.
