My 14 year son still doesn't have a phone. I really see no reason he needs one until he can drive and then only a basic one( no smartphone, just text and call)

Thank you for posting that OP. Very powerful. I firmly believe that social media is responsible for more death and despair then guns and yet no one wants to talk about the social rot taking place.

For those interested, Johnathan Haidt is doing great work in studying the role of social media and poor parenting as the cause of the massive increase in mental health disease.

I thought about this some more today.

What's to prevent the feds from simply using this social media "law" to silence or arrest those they deem to be "doing harm" on social media?

Or do we have to wait until the bill is passed to know the definition of "doing harm"?
