I just think this is a chess move and don't expect him to be the nominee. Both parties have to realize we need a younger generation.

The sad thing is Biden will win it again. Trump has no shot since he has lost the Independents.
That would only highlight the stupidity of the American voter.
I anticipate that Dems will vote for their progressive ideology, regardless of the merits of the candidate, and voter fraud in the usual swing states will be more than sufficient to assure a win over Trump, DeSantis, or whomever. The country was lost in 2020. JMO

Is Biden announcing his re-election campaign to avoid prosecution? The IRS whistleblower must have something here. It's interesting he said today he's announcing the day after the IRS whistleblower story breaks.

Isn't this how it's done, liberals?

No. He is announcing because of RFK jr.
But, that's what they said when Trump announced. It was to avoid prosecution. I don't think it is exclusive to just Republican candidates. RFK jr is not a strong challenger. Even his extended family has already came out in support for Biden. I hope RFK jr gives him hell though, but it's likely he's just going to be a speedbump to the nomination.

RFK jr is the most formidable challenger Biden could face. Credible. Aisle-crossing. Last name Kennedy.

Name someone better. You can't.

This is why he is moving now, not bc of some IRS bs he / they have squelched for years.
Newsome

He would be a challenge for Biden as well, but for different reasons.

how embarrassing.

there are entire video montages of old man biden sniffing hair

there are entire video montages of old man biden getting lost on stage

there are entire video montages of old man biden speaking gibberish

there are entire video montages of old man biden making up wild ass lying stories

going back to the 1970s, he's done nothing buy lie and now he can't even think on his own.

starting with his son's laptop, corroborated by various whistleblowers, former business partners, banking records and more and more sources coming out almost daily, there is a mountain of evidence that old man biden's obvious public corruption throughout his career has left him compromised. no one can ever know if he ever has America's best interest ahead of his own.

his own campaign prompted the intelligence letter to the establishment propaganda media arm that his son's laptop was Russian disinformation and he bald-faced lied to all Americans in a national debate that his son's laptop that proved his corruption was "debunked" come on, man. The censoring and lying about that laptop is the biggest election interference our country has ever seen.

in the mean time, Biden is somehow proud of the way he armed the Taliban and gave them an entire country, emboldened adversaries around the world with his weakness, blew up European energy infrastructure projects to provoke war and distance us from allies, enacted massive big gov spending in a highly inflationary period, opened the border to millions of migrants from all over the world to waltz into our country unfettered as asylum seekers who aren't really seeking asylum, empowering the cartels, and opening up significant risk to gang, criminal, and terrorist threats, not to mention exponential increase in deadly synthetic opioids plaguing the country and killing our youth. This is a guy whose handlers think we just need more tax collectors to extract more money from the people who still try to work for a living so we can pay for big government communist equity projects. This is a guy who stands up and claims half of all Americans are "semi-fascist" because they're guilty of loving America and wanting it to be great for Americans and not just be wasteful and detrimental to Americans in lieu of globalist and elitist's special interests like climate alarmist religion. Do people think four more years of this is what we need?

Some fault. But the real fault lies with the American voters. They are a selfish and ignorant. That is why our democracy is headed for the dust bin.

If I'm wrong on that can one of your smart people correct me.

I suppose it depends on how you define "win", but LBJ was not nominated in 1968.

that's because LBJ knew he would lose a primary most likely to Robert Kennedy

so he bowed and stated he would not seek nor accept the nomination. then of course Kennedy is assasinated leaving Nixon a much easier path to victory.

Agreed

obviously, just like in an accident there is the primary and the secondary causes of action

the primary being we have a 50% part of the population who are addicted to government programs and will vote for the left if they vote at all.

the secondary fault is Republican primary voters who may willingly choose what would be an 82 year old twice impeached one term President as the nominee rather than a 46 year old successful Governor.

The Wall Street Journal says, "NO" to Joe...

https://www.foxnews.com/media/wsj-editorial-board-biden-shouldnt-run-again-decline-clear

The Wall Street Journal editorial board argued President Joe Biden is too old to run for re-election Friday, admit reports he is likely to announce his 2024 bid next week.

"The public understands what Mr. Biden apparently won't admit: that electing an octogenarian in obvious decline for another four years could be an historic mistake," the editors wrote.

The editors continued, "asking the country to elect a man who is 80 years old and whose second term would end when he is 86 is a risky act that borders on selfish."

"The editors alleged the White House "goes to great lengths" to hide what they speculate is Biden's declining health.

"But his decline is clear to anyone who isn't willfully blind," they argued.

They pointed to his lack of press conferences, scripted appearances, and public stumbles as evidence for their position."

Quote:

The Washington Post reported Thursday that "the national Democratic Party has said it will support Biden's reelection, and it has no plans to sponsor primary debates." It's understandable: the Dems have a president, of sorts, and so they're counting on the power of incumbency to help their superannuated kleptocrat get over the top again. However, it's also immensely disappointing, because after years and years of Democratic presidential debates being dreary displays of candidates trying to out-socialist one another, 2024 Democratic primary debates would have actually had something to offer.
Quote:

Biden has two challengers, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson. When Kennedy announced his candidacy on Wednesday, USA Today reported that RFK immediately had the "support of 14% of voters who backed President Joe Biden in 2020," according to a USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll. Williamson had 5%, and another 13% were undecided. USA Today noted that "that is surprising strength for a candidate who has a famous political name but is now known mostly as the champion of a debunked conspiracy theory blaming childhood vaccines for autism."
Quote:

Kennedy also said something extremely interesting in his announcement that he was running: "My mission over the next 18 months of this campaign and throughout my presidency, will be to end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that is threatening now threatening now to impose a new kind of corporate feudalism in our country." Well, yes, and no one else is talking with this kind of clarity and consistency about the kind of collusion that we saw in the Twitter Files between the massive corporations and the government. Not even Donald Trump.

Biden is likely holding onto a deadman's switch of information on the powers that be in the DNC.

The absolute unnatural backing of Biden has to be disconcerting to more folks than just me.

Nothing about going all in on Biden 18 months before the election and nearly a year before the first primaries makes any sense.

So he either dies from a RayBan mishap or from choking on chocolate ice cream, but I would not subscribe to the job of being his food taster / tester at this point.

Hillary said she ain't running as long as Biden is running. Hes gonna tow the leftist line, until the end when he steps aside and Hillary "saves" the party as the "moderate".

Wouldn't be surprised if you see a third-party moderate do well if we have two candidates that neither party wants.
