He's walking upside down on ice. The buckets have air in them drawing them towards the surface which is why they don't fall. The wheel barrow their has air in it along with the tire or it's secured to the ice from the topside.

This debate is a sticky wicket. But there needs to be a litmus test, which goes beyond the content of the material released.

You can't say, 'well, it depends on the info released'. Because who gets to decide what info is acceptable to release? What if next time, the exact same action is done, but it's info you dont think should be released? Classified is Classified for a reason (or myriad of reasons).

IMHO - It's logical to admit that he did the wrong thing, even if for the right reason (which is questionable). I'm glad he exposed the truth, but I also realize what he did was wrong and could/will have dangerous consequences.

It's definitely not a black and white answer.

What does "trying to do the right thing" matter? When is Hillary going to come out before the cameras and defend this kid? Maybe he just like her misunderstood those classified markings to mean copyrighted.

This incident is going to have to be broken into several different issues to address appropriately.

One issue is the kid deciding to post this info and what repercussions he should face. I think somewhat minimal as we should not be giving teenagers and early 20 yo, males in particular, access to classified info at any level.

Second issue is why he had that access and who granted that access. And who gave the authority for the grantor to provide access. And who provided the authority to that guy. The need to hit a 2-star or better and then all the way down the chain. And the 2 star does real time. At least 10 years in Leavenworth or Colorado SuperMax.

Third issue is the proliferation of classification authorities and number of docs classified. And the whole process in general. Complete overhaul. No more hard docs. No more internet capable devices.

Fourth issue is why it took so long to discover the leak and track it down. If you post a copyrighted song the pitchforks come out quick and content removed. Hell, these docs had unique identifiers. Why is there not a team of nerds and AI type software constantly scanning for classified docs?

And a big final issue is the actual content of the documents and what it shows regarding our government and all the lies.

The least important issue is why the kid did what he did but that is what MSM and others are trying to focus on.
