My mom just left the Methodist church after nearly 80 years attending. She just couldn't take the woke crap. Her entire Sunday school class left and are looking for a biblically based church.

ECO, EPC and PCA Presbyterians are a good option. GMC if she wants to stay Methodist. LCMS and WELS are also great options.

If she doesn't care about the church being Liturgical, just go to a Baptist church.

Grew up Lutheran. Still go to Lutheran after 47 year. LCMS is liberal to my synod. As stated above, probably ELCA - very progressive Lutheran synod.

When I was looking for a church to attend in College Station, there were about 7 Lutheran Churches in B/CS. Tried out several before finding an LCMS congregation to worship with regularly.

The Wisconsin Synod one was pretty small and odd. But I see how they'd be categorised as being more conservative.

I've been to the Vatican, Notre Dame in Paris, Köln and I've seen the Pope visit the cathedral right next door to my office in North Sydney.

All of these reasons add up to a pass on Catholicism for me. But, otherwise, Catholics are good Christians. Got a lot of questions about the current Pope though.
