I think it was the 'apparent gay person' comment that was being questioned, and appropriately so.

If the actor, character and alleged inspiration for the character are all straight ... how/where was it 'gay'?

What a great take, hating on Kid Rock because he had the gall to take his silver spoon out of his mouth and make it into a pretty damn good career. A lot of kids born into that kind of environment don't amount to much.

How does drinking a beer next to someone mean much of anything. Is it possible you could you be drinking a beer with (or next to) someone you disagree with? I do it all the time with various coworkers, friends, family, etc.

Drag queens can be men, cis or trans women. I've known straight men that did drag shows.

Drag is a made up idea of the 20th century. All this pearl clutching over what men wear and what is "masculine" is absurd. Men have worn make-up, wigs, dresses, skirts, etc since forever. Some random culture decided that is what girls are supposed to wear and hence the pearl clutching of today.

Drag as it is known today is 90%+ gay and straight men. A trans person would not consider themselves to be in drag, they would consider themselves to be dressed as the woman they believe themselves to be.

Damn, Kid Rock seems really triggered over all this. Maybe he needs a safe space where no one will hurt his feelings.

This is exactly why we need tough red flag laws. Kid Rock has mental issues and should be nowhere near a firearm

That's why it's not really hypocritical. Kid Rock was in a photo with a drag queen. He seems to have a problem with trans.
