its not a matter of reviewing his case. when certain time comes up, federal prisoners are eligible for a reduction in sentence and then to spend last year at a half way house.

to believe the department of justice decided to "do the right thing" and let him out because they were worried about what tapes would show implies a benevolence on their part and appreciation for public sentiment that just don't exist.

The fact that anyone still labors under the belief that tv media, on all sides, are anything more than carnival barkers in search of ratings is both unbelievable and a sad reflection on the state of society.

Why a single personality/outlet? If this was ONLY given to Jake Tapper, and we only saw a few snippets of video, we'd all be ticked off, or at the very least skeptical of what was presented.

I'd be willing to bet that out of all that footage, one could find 3-4 min of video that could support ANY narrative being pushed.

That's why I'm skeptical about any interpretation of what we've seen.

McCarthy is controlled opposition too. He's acting right as of today with regards to Congress, but he'll squish out real quick in about six months just in time for primary and general election season. He is who he is, and didn't change because Chip Roy and Matt Gaetz demanded it.

McCarthy should have offered the media to come get it, whoever wants it.
