She is a minor. She cannot legally give permission.combat wombat said:
Um, that's sexual assault. Battery at a minimum.
I'm assuming the girl didn't expressly give permission for that.

why are so many kids/people attending these events?! Yes, the promoters and the drag queens are the ultimate problem, but if people stop showing up for these things, it will die on it's own.
This was on a college campus (that also has a high school) and the event was open to the public. This was not a "school event". It was held at a restaurant on campus, so anyone that attended did so on their own volition.CanyonAg77 said:Aggie95 said:

Exactly how were the kids going to get out of a school event?

From the article
The public college has two on-campus high school programs that begin enrollment in ninth grade. Photos posted by the school's official Instagram account showed drag queens posing with young girls.
Promotional materials for the 2023 Pride Festival, which was held at a restaurant on campus, advertised four drag queens, a "drag performance" and "free food, drinks, music & activities."
Exactly. I'd be on the phone with a lawyer now and the settlement would be life changing money.Lake08 said:

exactly...don't go. Don't give in to the staff and peer pressure. Encourage your friends not to attend. Promote and alternative event at the same time. Until the fight on our side starts to match the fight of the groomers, you are fighting a lost cause.CanyonAg77 said:Aggie95 said:This was on a college campus (that also has a high school) and the event was open to the public. So it wasn't a school event. It was only created, produced, promoted, and help on campus, supported by taxpayer dollars, and heavily encouraged by staff and peer pressure.
Got it.

Probably already been stated, but if she's underage it doesn't matter if she gives permission.

I've been to plenty of drag shows in my life. Some have been pretty tame, but most of them have been on the raunchy side. I don't get the fascination with having these shows for children, and the video posted is very much outside the boundaries of what I think would be acceptable. If this was done with out parental permission, this is outrageous.

Outrageous even with parental approval. Any parent that approves should have their children taken away - not fit to be a parent

If he was not dressed as a woman that would be sexual assault of a child IMO.
