So the logic is if you don't submit to violent threats and forfeit your rights, then it's your fault if actual political violence happens.

The constant escalating hyperbolic victimization and oppression narratives of the left are contributing to more mental illness and then violent paranoid behaviors, and it's very purposeful on the part of those spearheading it. They seem to want this type of thing so they can politically exploit it. They would be consistent with decades of their intellectual political rhetoric put into practice on a broad social media scale.
