It's been $3.09 or higher in Northern Dallas for a couple of weeks. Ours always spikes right before and during Spring Break, regardless of who lives at the WH.

Sounds like a job for Hunter Biden, if you can afford him.

Maybe I'll pick up painting and make nice with a few Chinese "investors"...I've never painted for profit, but, i hear there's a quick learning curve, and 500K is a common asking value.

Under Trump filling my tank up average was about $44. Under Biden it has been around $75

I fill up about once a week. 31x52 is $1,612 more a year. It adds up Dipsh**. Just like grocery prices

Yep, these ups and downs have happened at certain times of the year as long as I've been driving for the past four decades.

If only prices were still what they were in the 80s when i was paying .79 a gallon, that'd be nice.

I drive 30,000-40,000 miles a year for my job, yes the extra cost of gas adds up quickly. And my customers are in O&G, mining, utilities, military, etc. so we pass that cost along.

Calm down bud. My point is gas goes up, gas goes down. Don't really understand the point of posting about a 20 cent increase. We're all aware that gas has been much higher under Biden as a whole.

As long as Democrats are in charge, we will continually get screwed over on gas. It's not going to stop.

He is somewhat of an energy expert, making 7 digits for attending 4 board meetings per year at Burisma

Love these white libby clown responses. It's like $30+ more a pop filling up my truck now, compared to under Trump. Roughly $30/wk/$140/mo. It's not back breaking, but it does suck, considering everything else is expensive AF, we all get taxed constantly in every orifice, and I know people starting to get laid off.

Pretty much everything economically sucks right now. Only in psychotic liberal la la land is everything ok.

Paid 84 cents/liter this morning in Playa Hucares, Puerto Rico.

Y'all can work out the metric to American conversion on that one.

Looks like it's about $3.20 / gal which is about $2.30 less than what I'm paying back in Los Angeles.

Paid 4.79 at a Shell station in Houston, felt violated. Like a young girl who's hair is being sniffed by Uncle Joe.

Meanwhile oil is at $67/barrel.
We should be paying less per gallon.

I have a very ignorant question so I apologize in advance, but does any of this have to do with the tail end of the Winter blend? Summer blend is usually cheaper if I remember correctly but could any supply issue with the tail end of the Winter blend lead to this sort of short term jump?

Went to grab lunch today - passed a gas station at $2.84 (the one I usually get gas at) and then passed a Wal Mart gas station a mile away at $3.18. This happened like 2 weeks ago and within 2 days, my normal station had matched Wal Mart.

yes, the change from winter to summer blend is a contributing factor of the typical yearly increase overall from late February through April, depending upon your geography

Please tell me we don't still have adults who don't understand fuel cost translate to transportation costs, so increases in fuel costs increase almost everything we spend.

Springtime typically means a slowdown in refinery output due to the transition to summer blends, and typically means a slight squeeze in supply.

I'm the furthest thing from liberal. Like I already said just think it's silly to start a thread over a 20 cent change in gas prices when we've gone from $40/bb to $120 to $60. Just not sure how a $0.20 bump is noteworthy. But then again this board isn't the smartest.
