If I had to guess the kid that threw the knockout punch will be punished the most, the kid who hit the teacher was a good boy and dindu nuffin, and who knows about the kid that was losing.
FIFY

Am I the only one who can't figure out which one is the teacher?

I hate the "oh look, a fight, I need to record it for TiK Tok instead of doing something about it" reaction that seems to be the current go to. At least on kid didn't think the phone cam is the highest form of intervention.
Okay, I'll ask. What would YOU have done in this situation?
Go in. Hopefully connect as well with one punch like this kid. Get laid after.

I laughed when he says "He just hit you, that's not cool."
And she responds "No, it's really not cool."
Good for him for sticking up for his teacher. Give that kid an "A" the rest of the semester.
If two guys are in a fair fight, the best thing to do is let them fight it out.Bulldog73 said:

Puts down his cell phone AND stands up.
Sadly even though he was acting to diffuse and end the situation, he will probably wind up in trouble too due to zero-tolerance policies for fighting.

This. Sadly that boy will probably get in trouble for defending the teacher and stopping the fight.Ags4DaWin said:...torrid said:

It sets good kids up for failure because they begin to think standing up for yourself is wrong and that it's better to be a victim.
...
Assuming that's his first such fight, he will never be the same, regardless. Hopefully he remembers that he was doing a noble and valiant thing and how good it felt to do the right thing and only harnesses his aggression for good going fwd. The black community, especially, could use all the sheep dogs it can get.agsalaska said:Muy said:agsalaska said:

He's an Alpha and just found it. Hopefully the other kid gets his ass in line after getting dominated physically and verbally, and gets his s together.
Yep.
We all learned quite a bit about ourselves in high school. That kid had a hell of a moment right there.
LOL funny, but not real. These dudes do this act in all types of places.pdc093 said:

didn't hear what he said after his hit (so if he was inappropriate, my apologies,) but that was a proper display of masculinity.annie88 said:
Kudos to that kid.
This is part of the problem, along with zero tolerance and the general disdain for critical thinking in school administration across the board.Professional Hitter said:
I'm an AP. Kid in red is gone from campus (likely assault), kid in black is too. Defender gets a handshake and a "well done" if I had a say in it.
Professional Hitter said:
Hitting the teacher is what I would classify as assault. Not the fight.
If the teacher wants to press charges, it's assault. That's not disdain for critical thinking, that is the law. The fight would be DAEP for both fighters, but what escalates it for red kid is the hit on the teacher, whether intentional or not.
