Murder RATE! It's rate we're looking at. While the article starts with totals, it also shows how the murder rate would go down if it wasn't for these poorly run areas.
Remember how NY had a major crime drop when Rudy got firm policing standards into place? That's what we're looking at here. Lax policies from liberal mayors and DAs that allow more and more of this to happen because criminals know there are no real consequences, nor enough police to stop them. Rudy may have lost his damn mind with all the Kraken nonsense but he was right on that one

I'm more than fine with that too. Sounds like they're trying to change it. But if someone goes and holds a store up at gun point tomorrow, AND the law hasn't been updated yet, what do you think the judge should do?

SJR44 is literally going through in Texas right now because letting out violent offenders is a state issue. Current Texas law says you have to be offered bail unless it is a capital case.
Now do the J6 "violent offenders" that were never given bail, sentenced to lengthy prison sentences.
