The report they publish has become increasingly politicized but if you look at the full report, it actually makes the case that the LIKELY case for warming is one we could adapt to fairly easily and with a moderate cost. Change is inevitable and the climate will shift regardless of any neat or long term actions we take.

The summary version of the report is the problem: it is dumbed down and abbreviated and much more political and focuses of course on the more unlikely but more threatening worst case type scenarios in order to promote activism and political and economic actions, and is what is used to manipulate resource allocation, often to the benefit of the political class and their supporters. Fear motivates exploitable actions.

Around the early 2030's, right around the wef's and Obama comments on a reset.

At Christmas I was told that one of my cousins and her husband are looking to move from Houston to a higher elevation due to the coming flooding from Global Warming. I think that they want to find a new home above 800 ft in elevation. I did not say a word.

so in 7 years we started to stem the 150+ years of the industrialization of society. Yeah, makes perfect sense.

For most of us in the real world, if we produced estimates for our companies that were as wrong as Algore and the rest if the climate alarmists were on global warming, we would be fired, and deservedly so.

They have been predicting sea level rise and no North sea ice for over 50 years.
