Bullets is probably the most valuable commodity. Those with bullets can hunt to eat or just shoot another person and take their *****

Want to stop violence in Chicago, go door by door and Chrysler 300 by Chrysler 300 and collect all the bullets.

Not sure about the video but the truth is both parties went on a spending spree the last few year cumilmated in Biden's 5 trillion dollar last two years with the free money being provided by the Federal Reserve's zero interest rate policy so now with roaring inflation the Fed is aggressively raising interest rates and the banks are running into duration risk (lending short and investing long) so the banks are starting to fail and we STILL have inflation three times the Fed's target. There is no free lunch and the chickens are coming home to roost. You can only spend more than you earn for just so long. We had seven years of irresponsible monetary and fiscal policy and now some are saying we are going to have SEVEN years of payback. Meanwhile Social security and medicare are going broke. And no one is talking about fixing that.

If there is apocalyptic situation where people are hunting and scavenging for food, all of the game will be dead in a week.

Here we are again ...

March 2020, when they started shutting down the economy some folks on here predicted a global economic meltdown the likes of which we've never seen.

Why? Because some of us knew good and gd well they weren't gonna stop 2-weeks. And they didn't

They floated it along for 3-years to the tune of $8+ trillion. Now the music about to stop.

In summary, cheap money has fueled economic expansion since 2008. Ben Bernanke was chairman of the Fed and his argument was that lack of liquidity is what made the Great Depression the Great Depression. So he pumped liquidity into the market and kept doing it because inflation was low. As soon as he tried to stop, the market hand tantrum and backed off. Fast forward to 2018, Powell is now Fed Chair and he wants to stop easy money, but again market has a tantrum and he backs off. And then with Covid we pump more money.

Now we have inflation, an economy addicted to cheap money, insane amount of debt, and greater wealth disparity. To fix it will be super painful and politicians don't have the balls.

Thank you. And as was stated above, those paying attention already know all of this. What's uncertain, as Aggie93 states, is how it plays out.

One thing I've learned, and it's faith based, is that everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end.

We dont have to fix anything. Just keep printing more money. The USA is the world's economic zone. We will not fail and the world will keep buying.

Nobody in the world cares about our government being in debt. They will just change the rules to keep things going. This isn't the 1930s

There is nobody that will hold the USA accountable. They all want a piece.

Facts.

Even Donald Trump said this on the campaign trail. Only we should be smart about it now and invest in infrastructure and onshoring manufacturing.

US is blessed. We have the most powerful military ever and blessed with natural resources. Our financial system has its hands all over the world. For our debt to truly be a problem, the rest of the world has to believe it and take action. If they do, we'll bomb them. The dollar is reserve currency of the world and for that to change, will take a massive war. Plus the wealthy and elite in those other countries would be against it.

Not really... there will be plenty that live on large, game rich ranches that will defend / protect their property. Those in more urban settings would be different.

Plenty of rats and pigeons to boil and eat. Oh wait, no gas appliances. Yes, urban areas definitely frigged.

For Manhattan who users the battery backup on his coffee pot to charge his Merced EV station wagon, they vastly underestimate the amount of animals that live around them.

They also likely believe there will not be any fresh veggies once Whole Foods is looted.

I would advise that you take the two hours and watch this video.
How about you take two minutes to give us a synopsis?
Um, if you actually want to know then take the time to watch, cant be explained in two minutes, these are very complex issues

There is a middle ground between 2 minutes and one hour and fifty three minutes. Bullet points would be nice…
Kind of the fundamental problem in society today, everybody wants cheap and easy answers, but sometimes complex issues require a little effort to understand and they cant be explained away in a series of bullet points.

Well since it's too complex for you to explain, I'm not going to risk 2 hours watching a video about it. You are the one saying everyone needs to watch a video you can't understand well enough to talk about.

For those like me who think the **** will indeed hit the fan, the only question I have is what/where to invest in now? Im talking about ways to make $$$. Real Estate is about the only thing that I can argue makes sense.

I have enough guns and ammo to invade Detroit so I am good to go there.

Fyi- things that are very complex issues takes years (even lifetimes) to try to understand. No one has ever earned a PhD in Nuclear Engineering in 2 hours. No one has ever become a Doctor in an afternoon.

If a 2 hour YouTube video can explain it, it's definitely not a "very complex" issue. So a summary would have been appreciated.

I am going to create a company called Fear and sell shares. Plenty of folks seem to want to invest heavily in Fear. That's my plan to make money.

But I would think if one wanted to take advantage then I would have my powder dry and be ready to roll in when the dust settles.

Inflation, bank liquidity, consumer debt, refinancing risk for businesses, and government policy/regulation are the harbingers of a financial crisis. The negative synergy creating by combining any or all of them can be overwhelming. So say my financial advisors.

I do not recall ever seeing so much disagreement among stock market analysts/prognosticators, with optimists and pessimists now shouting at one another

We'll see what happens.
