I'm not sure going to prison for drugs is currently possible in California.

That said, maybe one is willing to catch a case in exchange for no mortgage, 250 years of income, and $5M cash. There's still weightlifting and basketball in prison, right?

The city has a budget of $14 billion for the next couple of years. If they fire all the police, that might pay for a few.

In the end, though, I'm sure that they would require a federal bailout. so it may be a stupid san francisco treat that we would all end up paying for.

Don't forget they also want to raise the income for anyone who qualifies as Black to their average for the next 250 years. So if they raise them to average, then the average is no longer the average and they would have to raise it more. And repeat as needed.

I think that the only way this could piss off more people would be for the politicians to announce that they will have to raise taxes to pay for this give away. I expect that they will do that.

They are absolutely trying to make the races hate each other.

It appears that San Francisco cannot wait on the Big Quake to take them out, they are going to do it all by themselves.

At some level, some adult has to have told them this would cost way more than the entire SF city budget and isn't realistic.

But no liberal politician wants to be the one to say "no, we literally can't afford this" so they'll just watch it all burn instead

I have an easy solution. The Democratic Party was the party of slavery. The Republican Party is the party that ended slavery. So if Democrats want to pay for their past sins, I say let them. If San Fran passes this and even makes the slightest effort to find people to give Reparations to then I fully expect that this will spread across the entire country. Every Dem/Lib run city and state will be trying to pass their own Reparations Bill.

I am sure that the Dems/Libs will float the idea of a "White Persons Tax" to pay for the Reparations.
