I like the idea of asking an idiotic question in a situation where everyone is taking things too seriously.

It's the Oscars. Where they describe anything that hasn't happened before as historic, and treat it with more reverence than Sunday Mass with the Pope.

The response from Malala seems like a simple grown up version of 'no comment'. No big deal.

She actually took on the Taliban, and fought to get women in schools. She refused to bow down to the Talibs, and it got her a bullet in the head. it's a miracle she survived.
