I'm still perplexed as to this racist America...I grew up in the 80's where:
  • #1 movie star was Eddie Murphy
  • #1 sitcom was the Cosby Show
  • #1 talk show host was Oprah Winfrey
  • #1 male recording artist was Michael Jackson
  • #1 female recording artist was Whitney Houston
  • #1 athlete and shoe endorser was Michael Jordan

If America was racist back then we REALLY sucked at it.

This cannot be repeated enough.
The point still holds, but I think Madonna was the top female in this timeframe.

Yeah, this seems like people over complicating things.

Real world example:

I live in Dallas. I am white. Therefore, I almost always avoid south Dallas. That's 80% of the battle won right there.

Our last foray to downtown for our anniversary kind of sealed the deal on getting us to 90% when we walked by an African garbed group chanting that all white people need to die. Noted. Downtown now off the list.

Can probably get that number to 95% by avoiding almost all malls. At this point, we only go to NorthPark even though we live next door to the Galleria. The latter seems to have been abandoned by white people the last time we went a few years ago. But even NorthPark is starting to turn for the worse and it's arguably the most high end mall in the country. The fact that all the jewelry stores now have armed guards out front that limit the number of customers in the store was pretty eye opening last time we were there.

So, we basically just stick to our nearby hood at this point. Having said all of that we have quite a few black friends who are all roughly in same class as us.

I grew up in the 90's. Race NEVER crossed my mind. My best friend for several years in Middle school was black, and it had nothing to do with our daily lives. We just shared similar interests and hung out with each other.

All of this started coming out once Obama came to prominence.

Lionel Richie belongs on this list somewhere.

There are no reasons to go to Downtown Dallas, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Washington, Baltimore, Tulsa, Albany. Places I've been recently but know more. I've advised my sons the same, I'd never take my kids into an area to become a walking target!
LOL Tulsa? I realize they make the list for crime stats, but there's just a certain part of town that can be considered unsafe. Half my family lives there, I lived there for 10 years. I absolutely never worry about my safety the several times per year that I'm in Tulsa. Doesn't belong on the list with those other towns at all.

The only people that can stop racism in this country are black people. But they like playing the victim card too much to let that happen so we'll probably be dealing with this for at least another 50 years.

True but it was close and The Bodyguard made more than any movie Madonna starred in but yes Madonna had a huge following obviously.

I think we can all agree that there was a huge audience for black recording artists and racism had f*** all to do with it. It really makes my blood boil that people can suggest this country somehow is still as racist as it was in the 50's and early 60's but here we are with race baiters gas lighting entire generations.

Racial strife between whites and blacks has always existed. It was bad then and it is bad now. Only difference is blacks have more Urban control and power and the rules are changing for whites.

utter bullcrap.

the amount of real animosity (hate) from whites to blacks (in aggregate) has decreased significantly over the last 50 years. And actual acts of racism have dropped by similar huge amounts

today is nothing like it was 30, 40 or 50 years ago. not even close.

Last summer, downtown Tulsa Drillers field, we were looking for a parking spot by the hotel behind right field and was confronted by a group that blocked us in the street. I had my grandson and family and they would not move. They all had 1 hand in their pockets trying to scare us. We had a stare down until incoming traffic had cleared and we had to go in oncoming lane to go around them. That was the last time I have gone anywhere without my carry. I had a loaded sawed off on the floorboard of the backseat but not in my hands. So yea Tulsa's on my list.
My son had a tire tool thrown at his windshield down there.

Those that profit and benefit from racial division (led by politicians) have done a surprisingly successful job bringing racism back, mainly by convincing black people (1) they are perpetual victims and (2) it's white people's fault.

There are not rationale arguments to be made for either of these wrong ideas, but it doesn't matter. I think the survey is about correct; about half of black people have been convinced of these lies. And for a lot of them, it's become a core belief they won't easily let go of.

Unlike the guy in the video, I refuse to write off the other half just because they share a skin color with different people who are racist. I refuse to let anyone sucker me into giving up on 25 million fellow Americans, just because they are black. We cannot let the race baiters win.

Instead I'll pay close attention to people's behavior, and I'll withdraw from those that hate me or wish me harm. This era is going to require caution and keen judgement.

There are 46 million black people in the U.S. and 47 percent of that is 21.6 million that hate white people.
I feel like the number is way higher on the hateside because people lie or are scared to tell the truth. Whites and blacks are more divided in America and you can blame the media and Identity politics.

Poor wording on my part.

Simply put, blacks have never liked whites, nothing has changed other than the power structure.

I am forbidden by Christ form taking part in ANY partiality on the basis of race. Either in the pro or con for any group.

I acknowledge 47% of blacks hate me.

I pray I can be friends with most of the other 53%.

I see around 5 of these videos daily and they are always new videos and rarely repeated. The offender and victim is always the same except for when the victim is Jewish or Asian.

Sadly even my kids, including the black and partially black one, know to show more caution when interacting with a black person (particularly a male) they do not know well. That caution only increases if there are additional signals such as sloppy clothes, avoiding eye contact or clumping in groups - which all correlate with even higher odds of a negative interaction.

Leftists will try to convince you this is racism. It is not. It is basic awareness, critical thinking and being emotionally intelligent in response to real data. All things we should be encouraging more of, not less of.

This is total BS. There are tons of black people who don't believe in the "all white people are bad" views that the left is trying to push on everyone.

Heck, you're just engaging in the flip side of those same views you abhor. Peas in a pod.
