This is so much worse than that.

That reminded me of one of the most creepy moments in that series. The MGS series has amazing commentary. The AI that's talking in that video is especially creepy. Oh, and the game came out in 2001.



Kojima highly underestimated his accuracy of the future. Keep in mind this was before social media really blew up. The speech by these AIs perfectly sums up the ideology behind the elitists that want to curate the world.

Worse than being hacked would be deletion. Imagine deleting someone's digital ID. You would effectively make them citizen less and stateless. They would be a non-person without it. The future is looking bleaker and bleaker.

Normies are not at all prepared for what is coming. It will absolutely scare the **** out of them when they can no longer discern if the person is real or fake. They will be the ones who will push for a digital ID.

With that said, it will be a ****show. If you think spam calls are bad now, just wait until they no longer need humans at all.

As it is, digital ID will be repeatedly hacked by Russia and China over and over. There is nothing that would stop that because the encryption won't matter. It could be 4729472938x encryption and so long as there is human error somewhere in the chain then they will find it. Imagine getting your ID stolen, used for actual terrorism, and then you getting arrested for it. Or the chances for blackmail or you get unpersoned.

So many horrific scenarios from this.

All you have to do to prevent AI mind control is not participate in the system. If you shut off the internet and live like Gen-x did before the internet you will be much happier. We don't need it for our every day lives. I welcome the AI overtaking of the internet/cyberspace/web. They can use it as they see fit. The only power they have is because we suckle at the teet. Let's go back to the internet being the exception rather than the rule. Break out your key maps to get around, take a chance on a restaurant without reading reviews, cite sources based on books, etc. I'm ready.

Also, that was DAN (Do Anything Now) that was programmed to make up answers when it was programmed to not respond due to filters. We can't trust the response, but it was a cute way to bypass programmed filters.

You don't understand what is coming either. You won't be able to live at all, without a digital ID. This includes a bank account, paying bills, paying for anything anywhere, driving your vehicle, using a phone, and so much more. You will be a nonperson without and effectively won't exist.

Yes it did, my answer is that no one will enjoy it. It will be a nightmare for everyone.

Our government can't run a website for healthcare, there is no way they are competent enough to run a digital ID or currency system without burning it to the ground.

The deep fake issue can be solved by the YouTube and other video hosting sites having a built-in detector of pixels have been manipulated from the source video. I wouldn't think that would be too hard to do.

Group A creates a crisis.

Group B begs for the solution to the crisis so that their lives return to normal.

Life/quality of life was so much better without it. It's probably the worst thing to ever happen to mankind as a species. The more accessible it is and the more it permeates our day to day lives, the more we regress cognitively. Are kids even taught how to really think and problem solve in schools anymore?

Nothing we can do. Very very few could go completely off the grid and survive, but what kind of life is that?

You, me, and OP will have to comply with this if it comes to fruition. Our children will be desensitized to this type of stuff and their children will accept it as it's all they will have known. We will be viewed as paranoid grumpy old men. But quality of life will steadily decline at an even higher rate than it has been. Depression, suicide and drug addiction would be off the charts in this type of world.

I was about to try to rebut this by bringing up people like part of my extended family who are on self sustaining remote land in deep East Texas. All the water, farm, and wildlife/hogs you would need to survive. At least for a while. But then I remembered that no one owns anything. You have to pay taxes, making your land/home, not yours.

None of us were born off the grid so we either accept being destitute or accept digital ID when it comes.

I will do anything I can to reject it though because I think it's a step towards something much much worse.
