What would Trump have done if Putin invaded? (I know what you're going to sayimpossible for that to happen with Trumpbecause it allows you to ignore answering the question).

The same Trump who praised the invasion as "genius."

Trump would have already taken so much oil market share Putin would be too busy hedging with futures contracts, just to keep his gov running. IF Putin still invaded, Trump would force Germany and others to completely cut off Russia while supplying them US petro.

This isn't really hypothetical, Trump was already trying to do this with his UN speech back in 2019. But the left was too busy laughing then...and now they are trying to blame him.

Ohio already votes Republican.

That is why Biden doesn't care about it.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Look it up. They told the Russians, and I'm sure the latter responded/confirmed no intent to attack while he was there.

Quote:

Hours before Biden's arrival in Ukraine, U.S. officials informed Russia of the president's travel, Sullivan said, "for deconfliction purposes," an effort to avoid any kind of inadvertent escalation that could have brought the two nations into direct military conflict.
It's obviously all theater, less dangerous to POTUS than going to a walmart in a Democrat run city in the US is for an average citizen.

The left is too busy with made up climate change BS that Soros and his media is selling to consider oil production being good in any way.

America's energy independence is a very key piece of the US being THE global power. This is why globalists created the climate change narrative. They don't want a dominate US. They have bought many of our politicians (both left and right) to do as much damage as possible.

The Paris climate agreement was designed to do just that. Which is why the US was to do the most reductions and pay the most money. It's why so many ads so focused on Trump being out.

Climate change = end of US dominance by limiting energy supply.

Ah that makes more sense. The author is clearly misrepresenting what the "cease-fire" was since it was basically just a "hey we'll stop bombing civilians for a day so we don't cause ww3" and not an actual cease-fire.

Kyiv is far from the active war zone. He'd be in more danger in parts of Chicago.
And at least he wasn't subject to sniper fire like Hilary Clinton in Bosnia.

Odds are they will, considering Ohio went Trump in 2020.

Probably why old Joe was so slow to visit there. He has a track record of holding back with states that didn't support him.

He's in more danger from a random drunk driver plowing into his motorcade than he is right now.

In Iraq in 2009 my battery was tasked to lock down route Irish so then VP Biden could drive from the Green Zone to BIAP. My E5 self knew that c*ck sucker was gonna fly no matter what and yet we still spent the day having potshots taken at us and praying to Jesus we didn't hit another IED.

This effing guy. My heart was captured by Ukraine.

Quote:

It also turns out that he informed Russia he was going before he informed us, which says something. We tend to be last when it comes to transparency from the Biden team, even after Russia. He wants to appear tough to us in the wake of his weakness in letting a Chinese spy balloon float over the U.S. for a week. But he told Russia ahead of time so they would back off of anything near where he was going to be.

"We did notify the Russians that President Biden would be traveling to Kyiv," National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters on Monday. "We did so some hours before his departure for de-confliction purposes." But he wouldn't tell the media how they notified Russia or what Russia's reaction was.

Unfortunately, if Biden thought that was going to make him appear tough, that's not going to do the trick, especially not when so many Americans wonder when he's going to focus more on American issues, and less on Ukraine while handing over our money to them.

Biden antagonized more Americans with this tweet that went viral, with most of the responses chastising him for his lack of care for Americans and the issues at home.

Quote:

Many noted that he'd been to Ukraine more than he'd been to East Palestine or the border. He's yet to even comment on the derailment disaster in East Palestine and his administration has been largely a failure in their response. Meanwhile, the ongoing crisis at the border is not only harmful to all the people and cities who have to deal with the influx of illegal aliens, but it's also largely of Biden's own making because of his poor policies. Biden also tweeted this as he refuses to talk about raising the debt limit to spend even more of our money. So he'll spend like a drunken sailor (on his political agenda) and give our money to Ukraine, but meanwhile forget safeguarding American interests, like our Social Security. He acts like his duty is to Ukraine, rather than to the United States.

Many also wondered just how much of his "heart" Ukraine holds onto, because of his family's relationship to business interests there and his prior interactions. Part of that concern is because there seems to be no end in sight to our money that he is willing to pour into a place known for its corruption with no real accountability (to us) for where everything is going.
We need a clown emoji for threads dealing with this corrupt, evil old dementia patient of a "president."

I've seen estimates but they are all over the place.

I do know most of our donations to date have been older equipment that was unlikely to be used by us in projected combat scenarios short of an actual WWIIII and consumed maintenance budgets, and were partly older munitions with limited shelf life that are destroyed when they expire anyhow. They are valued at replacement cost on the books but many older systems aren't replaced like for like, but with a different new system already planned and budgeted, so the only "cost" is getting it off the books a few years earlier than it's planned scrapping or destruction.
Now, we have provided some newer gear and newer production runs of ammunition and equipment as things have gone on, and that will require some actual additional budgeting to replace in inventory if it was planned to be available in the future, but not much new aside from personal arms and gear and some ammunition.

There will be some actual inventory replacement cost incurred on our behalf but not actually the billions of dollars that the equipment is valued at, as most of it would be need replacing.

It's confusing as hell and very few are tracking it. This is the only site I've found that attempts to accurately track what's happening: Kiel Institute. You can download their data set to see actual numbers and pretty detailed information. This has been updated through Jan15.

As of Jan15, the US has spent a total of $74B in Euros or $79B in USD. Our total verbally allocated figure is $100B, so I'm assuming then we've spent 79% of what we've approved, but not 100% if that is accurate:

Financial - $25B
Humanitarian - $4B
Military - $44B

Thus, cash is about 34% of the total and military equipment is 60% of the total.
