PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) Phenix City resident, Tywoana Anderson- Jakes, 50, appeared in court after allegedly shooting and killing a 12-year-old child on Feb. 1.

According to authorities, 12-year-old Connor Mullins was accompanied by two others, one of which was his brother, when they entered Jakes property across the street from her main residence.


Authorities say Jakes came outside and two of three starting running away.

That's when authorities say Jakes fired a shot, which hit Mullins.

He also asked the state to investigate a Sep. 2022 shooting where one man was left injured after being shot by Jakes on the same property.

Arizona does not have a defense of property statute like Texas. Shooting someone for trespassing on a lot across the street sounds pretty murder-y.

How about Alabama where this incident happened?

I'm pretty sure Texas is the only state to have a deadly force defense of property statute. So doesn't really matter where it happened.

She shot someone in September under similar circumstances.

Nothing to see here, just an angry black woman gunning down a 12 year old white kid. Riots in the streets? Fists in the air? Nope. That would be racist.

Were the kids taking a shortcut to their destination or had they been there prior making threats they would return and kill her?

Put her on the border.

If the races of the victim and shooter were reversed, cities would be burning.

But in this case, the media, Democrats, activists, and other rabble won't care and some are probably okay with it.

Tonight the victim's brother has identified him as 12-year-old Connor Mullins. White guys need to defend her for whacking tresspassers, right?

Firing on an adult that you believe is a threat seems a far piece from firing on three boys/adolescent kids and sure does seem like it's based in malice unless she's a known kook who fires on sight.

I'm not sure where that cut off should be, as a malicious 16 year old can definitely be classified as a threat in certain circumstances.

Man I'm concerned about how different the world is for my son to grow up in compared to the world I had at his age.

I am guessing we will see the same national fervor we saw with George Zimmerman?
