How would you rank the Presidents in guiding the country through wartime?
Of course there's no official metric to determine if a President was excellent, good, average, bad, or extremely poor and the wars all have their own quirks/idiosyncrasies but they have common ground with the President's roll in assuring the public, making political and military decisions prior to and during the conflict, keeping the economy in good shape, resolving the conflict (if appropriate), and generally being a good leader for the country.
There's a bunch. Try to answer with groupings with 1 being excellent and 5 being extremely poor. Call out individual men if you'd like.
