Is the incidence of power loss at grocery stores so infrequent that it doesn't pay to have the refrigerated cases on large backup diesel (or natural gas) generators?
I recall walking into a WalMart back after the great 2021 power outage and seeing every refrigerated case they had completely empty. That had to throw all that product away, although I think they left the beer alone.

meat was originally labeled in prior sales period (yellow tag). prices changed over Wednesday, yellow tag not removed by lazy employee, clearance tag placed on top.
so yes, meat is cheaper than current prices. just not the original temp yellow sales tab that was not removed.
