On the way to work today, I saw a bumper sticker on the car beside me. Couldn't read it well, but when we stopped, I could finally read it.

"Vaccinated , because I'm not stupid"

Driver was a 50ish Caucasian woman.

The fact that the people who Karened the hardest during Covid were so sure of their intellectual and moral superiority is not surprising, leftist are always sure they're right and everyone else is Racist Hitler.

But I laughed that she felt the need to insult everyone who didn't think exactly like her.

As the news on Covid evolves, and people dropping dead in their healthy teens and 20s is hard to miss, I wonder if she remove that bumper sticker, realizing it may be indicating the opposite of everything she thought that it meant when she put it on.

It's just a matter of time before someone takes a sharpie and draws a line through the "not".

While I think putting any kind of political bumper sticker on your car is weird, I have seen stickers from both sides, disparaging the other side. In fact I saw one yesterday that said anyone taking the vax were sheep

True believers never alter their views. The simply lie to themselves and reshape facts to somehow fit within their narrative.

This type of zealot/wannabe tyrant described in the OP was definitely in the 30% of Dems cohort that wanted children taken away from you if you weren't vaccinated. I just take comfort in knowing that these people are miserable and live fruitless lives. They will never have any advantage or moral high ground over me.

The funniest such sticker I ever saw said something like, "I'm liberal, therefore I think" or some such non-sense. We all know liberals don't think.

I've seen some ugly ass lady at Memorial Park Houston walking around in a shirt with, "I think, therefore I vote democrat." I wanted to stop and laugh in her face so much.

I got the shot in December '20, at the time thought it made sense due to being exposed to sick people, still got COVID, decided I don't need any boosters. Not ashamed of it, I did what I thought was best at the time. If I could go back I'd skip it, I never pressured anyone else to do it or not.

i respect your decision to do what was best for you. whole i don't agree with it i can appreciate the fact you didn't pressure others and stand behind your decision. if more people handled this the way you did there would have been a lot less divisiveness in our country. unfortunately you were one of the few adults that handled this properly. i wish you the best of luck with the outcome of taking the jab.

Whoops, December 2020 was when I got my first shot. , very early after they were "approved "

In late 2020, I felt like we still didn't know that the virus was no big deal for most. The fear peddling was at its height, and I guess I trusted "the science " that they were selling

I got the shot in November 2021 because my work required it or I'd be fired. I'm fully remote by the way. No exceptions for this were allowed. So far (as I know) I've not suffered any complications from it. But, I've decided I'm not taking any of the boosters, ever. And if my work requires it (so far they have not) then I'm out.

I just hope that if it does turn out theses vaccinations have long term effects they are held accountable. These were dangerous decisions being made by cowards. We have become a nation of cowards. And to hell with anyone who pushed this horse ***** I will never forgive you. COVIDIOTs are the new Nazis.

Sure we did, if you read the room correctly. By December 2020, the following had happened:

- Newsome dinner at French Laundry
- Lightfoot getting her hair done because she's "on TV."
- Pelosi going to a closed down salon to get her hair done
- Chris Cuomo out enjoying life after testing positive for COVID rather than quarantining
- Dianne Feinstein caught not wearing a mask at the airport
- Mayor Adler urges people to stay home while in Cabo for wedding
- Governor Whitmer's husband enjoys boating for Memorial Day amid wife's strict lock down orders

All of the people peddling the fear and lockdowns were not following any of the guidelines they enacted on others. Some of us saw this in real time and didn't let the fear overtake our rationale.

You forgot the most obvious
Limit family and friend gatherings to 10 or less
Limit riots, I mean protests, to groups of 100.

They really did this with a serious face.
