How about the incompetence of the GPD for serving the warrant at the wrong freaking house! The judge relied on the information of the PDs investigation to authorize the warrant. The judge is supposed to know that the PD is too incompetent to know where the suspect lives?girlfriend_experience said:

Hate for his career to come down to a bad call from underlings, but when you lead, you lead alone.

And the decision to authorize a no-knock raid, especially in this circumstance. If it's not even the kid's home, it's absolutely certain that completely innocent people were there. What if the mom were awakened by all the banging at 2:00 AM and grabbed her gun? She would be dead. Why couldn't they have picked up the kid on the way to school, or at his own home? It has nothing to do with his age and more the circumstance that he is living at home. More about them than him. It is ridiculously heavy handed, destructive, and dangerous for his family. There are other ways and better ways.cslifer said:
