SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Video and audio recorded last year during the attack on Paul Pelosi will be released Friday after a California court ruled the district attorney's office must make the materials public.

Audio from police interviews with alleged attacker David DePape, as well as 911 calls, police body camera footage, and home surveillance video, among other investigative material, is set for release at 9 a.m. Pacific Time, according to the San Francisco Superior Court.

I promise you we will get a big nothing burger.

How do I know?

Because if there was anything of substance in the video, they wouldn't be releasing it.

Justice for Miguel!
That NBC reporter will be vindicated when the video backs up his initial report that the lefties censored because he was not running the proper narrative.

You're probably right and if so that's fine. It needs to be made public. Let the chips fall where they may.
The federal government was never meant to be this powerful.

I predict…

1. There will be nothing in the video that proves conspiracy theorists' gay fantasy with this case.
2. The conspiracy theorists won't believe it.
3. Instead, conspiracy theorists will find some new something they can't explain because they don't have the context, and that will somehow become new "evidence" that their original hypothesis was correct.
4. Nothing changes.

Perhaps. But the fact that it has taken so long to release it smacks of special treatment for the political elite.

That's my guess. If the DA's office says it will amplify the claims of misinformation, it is highly likely the videos will show enough of nothing for both sides to claim the other is wrong.

Would they release surveillance video of a break-in of normal citizen?

Would this footage not have been private property? Would it not require permission from the owner to share it?

As much as you think you're owed "the truth"… In this, none of us are owed anything. A crime was committed against an individual, and that individual wasn't you.

Given the revelations of the last couple years, conspiracy theorist doesn't carry the same negative connotation in my mind that it used to.

Would they release surveillance video of a break-in of normal citizen?
Would Nancy Pelosi be in jail for securities fraud if we treated her like a normal citizen?

At first I thought this was moving the goal posts. Then I realized it's just a red herring.

Should she be looked at? Yes. Does that have ANYTHING to do with this conversation? No.

Funny that the clerk's office has been instructed to say nothing on this case and you can only obtain it by appearing at the court at a certain time. No way to obtain it otherwise. The whole thing is odd.

I dont disagree.

But to be fair, it's pretty easy to shut down many of these conspiracy theories. Problem is, they aren't transparent and dont release the facts many times. Hence the skepticism that leads to various theories trying to explain things.

And the past few years have done nothing to squelch these theories...as things deemed 'conspiracy' have proven correct time and time again.

You condescendingly referring to people as conspiracy theorists is hilarious given the last several years...they've got a pretty damn good batting average lately.

Also...look up the origin of the term. Baaaaaa...

Conspiracy theories arise when the gov't hides evidence and changes its story multiple times. It's perfectly normal to be suspicious.

Bodycam footage of a public servant is private property? Don't think so.

Additionally video surveillance is provided by Capitol Police, funded by our tax dollars, meaning we get to see the video.

It's not a conspiracy when there has been NO evidence to dissuade such conspiracy theorists.

Libs started this **** when they came out and claimed he was wearing nothing but a MAGA hat and carrying a hammer with Trump 2024 on it.

Why was alarm off? Why is SOTH house not have tempered glass or more realistically safety glass on the exterior doors? Why did the neighbors security guard not call police when he saw unusual person walking around 2nd in line to the Oval's personal residence?

But yea, crazy conspiracists.

Just in case people forget the coverage of this in the days after the attack which also coincided with the days of midterm early voting and immediacy to the elections.

Meanwhile, Biden and DOJ were conspiring to keep Biden classified docs secret.
