US hands over former Mexican cop accused in murders of 43 college students

American authorities handed over a key suspect in the 2014 abduction and killing of 43 college students to their Mexican counterparts after he tried crossing the border without the proper documents.

Mexico's National Immigration Institute identified the man only by his first name, but a federal agent later confirmed to The Associated Press on Thursday that he is Alejandro Tenescalco. The institute said he failed to qualify for asylum in the United States.

Tenescalco, a former Mexican police officer, was caught trying to cross the border on Dec. 20.
What an idiot!!
He should have just ducked under the wall took his chances.
Of course he failed to qualify for asylum, he was working for the NARCO govt, not the actual government and he is not gay, trans, or using the PC pronouns.
At least he will enter hell after being tortured.

Quote:

Alejandro Encinas, the head of the government Truth Commission, has called Tenescalco "one of the main perpetrators" of the crime.

He faces charges of kidnapping and organized crime. The Mexican government had offered a $500,000 for his arrest.

The killing of the students drew international outrage and became an example of the endemic violence by brazen drug gangs and corruption throughout Mexico.

The investigations resulted in the arrests of three soldiers, including a now retired general who had been the army commander in the area when the abductions occurred. Also, then federal Attorney General Jess Murillo Karam has been accused of inventing the government's original account based on torture and manipulation of evidence.

AMLO seems like Biden: old and clueless.
Especially after this week's: Mexican President AMLO says he'll 'review' drug kingpin El Chapo's request to return home

Can we trade Mexico for Columbia or Panama or Costa Rica as a neighbor?

"College students" lol. Those guys were "normalistas" or teaching school students (think of when we used to have "Normal" schools like Southwest in the US, schools designed for teacher prep). In Mexico these days a "normalista" is little better than a formalized antifa group that does the bidding of whoever pays them, usually for purposes of extortion or rioting/destruction, but more often protestors for hire. They routinely shut down train tracks, take over toll booths, and other wonderful stuff. College students, lol.

Tragic and all, but.......here's a joke.

What do you call 43 dead normalistas?

A good start.

Read up on Mexican prisons.
Read up on what the cartel does to people that "used to work for them".
What will happen to him would qualify as torture.

Disgusting rhetoric.

The formalistas were preparing to teach in small villages, not just school but also the ins and outs of surviving when you have the bare minimum.

They started questioning and rebelling against the corrupt government and suddenly got disappeared. Unsurprising you support the corrupt tyrants.

Buddy you have zero idea what you're taking about. That may be what they say on paper to get money from international groups, but they were largely founded by (and, if not, since then entirely coopted by) avowed communist groups. They imbibe and, if they ever actually "teach" anyone anywhere, revolution and communism. Unsurprising you support the poor little commies since you support their enablers here.
