So, he was charging poor Hunter 46K a year to rent his house, but didn't pay any taxes on this. Also, this is one of the places classified documents were illegally stashed. We all feel confident about Hunter Biden's document handling practices, too, right?

Now, my guess is this document is real, and this was just one more way Joe was using money laundering schemes to get back some of what Hunter 'owed' him. The House should begin impeachment hearings about tax fraud and money laundering, as well as the classified document handling/theft, this week.

technically if he was laundering it he would be putting it back into the system to pay taxes on it and make it clean.

If the documents are true then he continued to hide the money and not pay taxes on it, so it hasn't been cleaned.

IF the House actually has access to information this time, instead of something like 10,000 hours being hidden, then it might actually work.

However, the SOP for the last ten years has been to obfuscate, lie, deny, say "I don't remember (see future FBI hearings)" or take the 5th. Any of that crap happen, then yes, the R's are screwed as usual.

Well it's got a signature, so it should be easily verifiable. If it is genuine, it should also be enough for the IRS/DOJ to ask for his bank records to verify whether or not Hunter was paying him.

Surely the senator from MBNA has solid property tax records for this long-standing residence he and his family have owned.

Someone else pointed out this "rent" happened to be a significant fraction of Hunter's Burisma salary on a per month basis.

It's pretty tough to figure out how they come up with a story backing a 49K monthly rent on a $2 million house.

That would be the first thing I would look for. Very hard to hide that size of transaction, especially if it is happening on a monthly basis. Not like it is just a few hundred in cash. Fifty Grand a month generates a trail. If this is true the trail is there to be found.
