How many customers were they really going to lose at the brewery in Conroe by Rittenhouse being there one day? Probably none. Which is why the HEB threat is credible and probably true.

They knew from the beginning because the events coordinator doesn't care and is simply doing their job by booking events. Only later, when it got to the owner, did they care. Because he's a spineless knee bending coward that made the assumption that it was a better business decision to cater to the woke. We'll see if he's right. I hope he isn't.

Southern Star is probably one of a handful of local breweries that makes more income from store sales than in-person brewery visits. It doesn't matter how conservative Conroe/Montgomery is when your customer base is the entire Houston metro.

If you listened to the interview, which I did, I'm not sure how you walk away believing he was being truthful. Frankly it was painful to listen to a guy twist himself in knots and come across as not believable
