We have had massive supply chain issues exacerbated by a backlog of ships waiting to unload in California ports, something that impacts the whole country. As Transportation Secretary, that issue is something he should address. He was too busy on paternity leave to be in the office to deal with it.

I'm sure the intent was to make it sound like Biden is control of his staff, but for the press to report that Biden had to direct Buttigieg to investigate makes it sound worse.
