If the end result is that Dems get to chair some of the committees by cutting a deal and we still get McCarthy as speaker then this will be a loss for the R's.

If the end result is we get a real conservative as speaker it will be a win for Americans.

I disagree - this is not a clown show. This is BADLY overdue and needed.

This is a battle for the soul of the GOP. Are we going to continue to be Democrat-Lite and continue the charade of the uniparty? Yes I agree. Particularly in the modern world, were things move so quickly, states are more equipped to deal with even external security threats than the feds.
