As a Christian, marriage is seen as a holy covenant. It is a methaphor of Christ's relationship with the church here on earth. For this reason, Marriage is supposed to be for life. As God created the institution of marriage, He gets to define it. As a Christian I believe homosexuality is a sin. But we all sin in the eyes of God. Jesus said "love God & love your neighbor". He didn't say "love your neighbor unless they sin". I choose to love people in spite of our sins. This doesn't mean I would ever promote someone's sins or give them a trophy because of it but I'm also not here to judge others. To me that's between the individual and God.
