All my vaxxed coworkers have caught this years bug and it wiped them out. My pureblood coworkers (myself and wife included) caught the bug and have had recovered fairly quickly. I went pheasant hunting Saturday morning, got done mid afternoon, cleaned the birds, ate dinner and started feeling bad Saturday evening, was chitting through a screen door Saturday night, and was completely over it when i woke up Sunday morning. Hunted again Sunday.

Wife came down with it Sunday afternoon and had kicked it by Monday afternoon.

This is hyper sensationalized garbage, for example NHS has had an average hospital occupancy above 90% from 2010-2019, US is only slightly lower than that.

Occupancy is below 85% in five of 12 hospitals and above 90% in seven hospitals. Optimal occupancy is 85%.

It's a business, they need patients, under perform and get shut down.

I'm prescribing myself Quinine and Vitamine C in a lowball with a spirit laced with botanical herbs.

Maybe we should spend $30 million to set up an emergency field hospital in the astrodome parking lot.

When I was little I'd get strep throat so bad I thought I would die. My parents gave me aspirin and made me gargle with warm salt water, and stay in bed. Once my fever was so high they put me in an ice bath.

Usually adults provide herd immunity for children

But as everyone's immune system is shot from 2-3 years of isolation, that normal immunity isn't there.

This year is that: reestablishing community immunity. It sucks but it's part of the price for the lockdown idiocy

edit: in my rural conservative town, most families I know have been dealing with illness the past month. My own family has been sick for 3-4 weeks now. all 4 kids threw up last week. wife had covid. kids had fever. other families going through the same thing. Doctors just keep prescribing more meds to solve the problem.

Also, toddlers and up are not dying from RSV......give us the data. Also how many infants are dying? Saying its dangerous for children without the numbers is just spreading fear. How does it compare to the flu? Riding in a car? What about the ages? Does the infant who got sick with RSV have any other issues?
