How many burglaries and thefts has this person committed that they have not been arrested for? They are likely stealing from someone at least every other day and will suffer no consequences due to the liberal laws in NY.

Hundreds of victims per year and the criminal will never suffer more than a few hours of inconvenience.

I wonder if she will be treated the same and let loose….or she will be held in jail to protect that fine citizen that Deniro is.

She doesn't have $40,000 (it's bail, not bond, so she has to pay the full amount), so she's staying in jail. She's facing up to fifteen years

So 6 average Joe's get burglarized and she's out of jail immediately. An elite like DeNiro gets hit and $40k bail. Quite commie like

Aviles was last released on Dec. 13 after a judge waived her $5,000 bail for her to check into a Manhattan drug treatment program which she blew off, officials said.

She was supposed to be locked up (not in jail, but in an in-patient program), and the reason she's in jail now is because she blew off the program and committed another burglary shortly after, so the prosecutors got fed up with her. It's not just the fact that she burglarized De Niro's house, although that definitely played a part.

So NOW they are fed up with her after 20 arrests this year.
