A photon checks into a hotel, where a bellhop asks where its suitcase is. The photon replies, "I didn't bring any luggage. I'm traveling light."

I am going to guess that these people flunked Physics in high school and are still pissed about it. So they are now trying to completely F Physics Up. Cancel Culture being turned loose on the Sciences.

Wonder how Neil deGrasse Tyson feels about this. I know he's taken some fairly leftist positions but at some point shouldn't you be willing to look at your peers and say, "I made it through hard work and so can everyone else."
The federal government was never meant to be this powerful.

. . . The project boasts a roster of 15 collaborators, including: Concordia "Indigenous pedagogy adviser" Donna Kahrakwas Goodleaf; environmental researcher and chemistry researcher Gregor Kos; three representatives from the Kahnaw:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO), an indigenous environmental advocacy group; University of Toronto astronomer and indigenous activist Hilding Neilson; and 9 graduate and undergraduate workers. The project also features collaboration from five researchers at major universities around the world. . . .

Citing to 9 undergraduate and graduate students was a nice touch. Clearly this is bigger than a tweet from a nobody at a nowhere school in Canada.

Gracias for the link. I've edited this post repeatedly so it doesn't come across as snarky, although it hasn't been easy given the hour and material.

Basis of this to make Americans more inclusive and inject feels to libs here. Like hell Canadians know an awful lot about the problems we face.
Sounds like we need to do a lot of busing to Concordia. Their culture needs to change first. Then, get back to us.

Post modernist intellectual childishness that should be rejected as outright ridiculous by the STEM community.

The universe doesn't give a shot about what these people wish were true or the alternative realities they fabricate to feed their own sanctimonious egos.

The real irony is this post modernist pseudo intellectualism came flooding out of the humanities because they were deeply jealous of the academic prestige of STEM and wanted to fabricate their own sophisticated sounding seemingly intellectually rigorous body of "science" to match, so they simply fabricated one using distortions of language and dismissing the need for actual scientific rigors, or even coherent logic and reason.

They are now attacking the STEM fields that have given them an inferiority complex directly and trying to subvert them.

It WILL harm the future progress of human civilization, and thus increase the net misery in the lives of billions of people, unless we stop the madness.

The ministry of truth just declared war in the ministry of science and physics…….can we finally just recognize early on that this is an act of war and the ministry of science and physic will destroyed if they don't immediately counter strike.

Their idiotic pseudo intellectual language infuriates me most. It seems to mock coherent intellectual discourse. I start seeing their lexicon and I know I am dealing with pompous fools who believe themselves to be much more intelligent than they are and also will be tragically unable to be convinced otherwise.

Summary;

White women and POC are marginalized meaning at least they like our women.

White men have become jellyfish.

White men have been shown time and time again that standing up publicly for your values is not supportive of "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness".

Even when one obtains freedom from corporate America and may even build enough wealth for overall financial independence, the white man must still consider his wife, children, family and such before speaking their mind,

Wearing a red baseball hat with a slogan to improve our country is seen as worse than wearing a white pointed hood in Harlem.

Whilst I can agree that soyboyification of white men is a real thing, do not diminish the impact that true racial, gender based persecution have caused many a white man to muzzle themselves.

That's not a healthy thing whatsoever. Other than being counter to every American ideal, people who cheer this on need to understand that once the host has been consumed, they will move on to the next group.

Dear Mr. Orwell, you wrote a warning but it ended up being a "How To" guide to the regressive Left

Quote:

'But the whole universe is outside us. Look at the stars! Some of them are a million light-years away. They are out of our reach for ever.'

'What are the stars?' said O'Brien indifferently. 'They are bits of fire a few kilometres away. We could reach them if we wanted to. Or we could blot them out. The earth is the centre of the universe. The sun and the stars go round it.'

Winston made another convulsive movement. This time he did not say anything. O'Brien continued as though answering a spoken objection:

'For certain purposes, of course, that is not true. When we navigate the ocean, or when we predict an eclipse, we often find it convenient to assume that the earth goes round the sun and that the stars are millions upon millions of kilometres away. But what of it? Do you suppose it is beyond us to produce a dual system of astronomy? The stars can be near or distant, according as we need them. Do you suppose our mathematicians are unequal to that? Have you forgotten doublethink?'

Will support any faction that arises willing to take this head-on, and not in a McConnellish or CM manner. A faction willing to be as anti-Left woke as the Left is willing to be woke.

That's just the thing. Not everyone can make it through. Not everyone is smart enough to be a physicist. That makes it racist. We need equal outcomes, not equal opportunity.

That's been a big push in the medical field as well. Make sure when picking a doctor, you pick a well seasoned one.
