Even if there isn't you would think human decency would mean reporting. If a person has morals and is ethical they would report.

Well I counseled and didn't let 6 soldiers get paid this past weekend because they haven't got their flu vaccine yet (brigade directive was to have it by December 1st). So chew on that one for a bit.
So you made sure some soldiers didn't get paid over a ****ing flu vax?

Not getting a flu vaccine results in a red status in MEDPROS and the soldier is non-deployable at that point. I can't have soldiers sitting in that status as 1) I don't like getting my ass chewed out and 2)readiness is why we exist in a reserve status. I do they same when they hit red in dental or other medical statuses.
Dude. Other differences aside… man-to-man… If your go-to leadership mechanism is F'ing with a junior enlisted's pay to avoid personal get scolded… I'm going to recommend replacing some TexAgs time with reading up on leadership.

Seriously - it doesn't even come to mind when I think of the tools I used in leading my Marines.
STV isn't a leader, just a petty tyrant "Just doing their job".

Yes exactly

You are disgusting

You also are the same person who would in the 70s giving soldiers syphilis intentionally

So the military should abandon medical readiness and cede all medical decisions to their members? Commanders should never have any real picture or their medical readiness by extension? Is that what you propose?

Should military aged health males be forced to take an experimental shot that has significant proof of causing heart conditions?

Oddly enough, they often continued to obey some of the remaining laws. In a procedural kind of way. That's why so much was done off German soil.

They didn't even do what Biden is doing with the border -- ignoring their laws. They changed them.

Allies broke many too, if you are talking about the actual laws of war--- but this topic would seem more to relate to internal laws of the nation and government wouldn't it?

Their pay is not "taken". They are reservists. They aren't allowed to sign in for duty if they are red for that directive. We do the same for other issues, like outstanding balances on GTC's or late vouchers on DTS, or even delinquent NCOER's. It's effective. All 6 called LHI, requested a voucher for service at Walgreens for a free flu shot and signed in by noon.

I was unclear as to how the TeslaAg could, of his own accord, prevent soldiers from being paid. However, I was under the impression we were discussing active duty soldiers. Interfering with active duty personnel's pay is a very different beast than what the OP is describing as a reservist. The reserves are fairly straight forward. Don't need medical protocols? Don't get paid. This covers everting from dental to eye care.

Yep, for active duty it's pretty simple. Send them to the TMC and have them get the shot during the duty day. You'll see them every day for the rest of the month for follow up. In the reserves it's a different animal. You see people two days a month, if they don't RST or go UNSAT. So your tools for enforcement are limited, and the army still expects the same level of medical readiness as the active side. You do what you have to do. Restricting sign in is about the only tool we have for many things.

That says nothing. How would you handle an army directive to get flu shots, every year, with a full bird colonel dictating a suspense date of Dec 1?

Probably had no issues with the BLM riots and the destruction they caused with no repercussions, though, right?

And yeah, I know it's not the military but the "hypocrisy" point stands.

Being forced to be injected with an experimental vaccine should not be a "lawful" order.

"Just following orders" should not be an excuse; that includes following orders to force others to be injected with an experimental vaccine.
Teslag
How long do you want to ignore this user?

The military mandate was put in place after the vaccine had full non-experimental approval. Now you may disagree with that approval, but we aren't the approving agency.

Further, we have mandated experimental vaccines in the past for soldiers (anthrax) and will again. It's the nature of the beast when you join.

A friend of mine is a drill sergeant and I once asked why they make a big deal of vaccinating new enlistees at basic training instead of doing it at MEPPS prior to shipping. When they arrive at basic they remove their shirts, line up, and get vaccinated one by one for every single thing they lack. I got 3 in one arm and 2 in the other. At the same time. He said the reason was 1) it's faster and 2) it's a way to show them that they no longer have full autonomy over their medical choices. That they are in effect an asset of the military and the military will "maintain" you as they feel necessary.

When I first joined there was a soldier who was kind of promiscuous but not what you would call easy or anything. She later suffered a sexual assault by a superior officer and it was buried. I had some information that backed up her case and I kept quiet just to avoid being caught up in it. This was prior to the Army's big anti-sexual assault push we see now. They basically forced her out and trashed her reputation. I found out last year that she eventually took her own life over it all. I've since volunteered for any SHARP teaching or SARC position I can but there's still a ton of guilt over it.

Its certainly easier in the reserves, but I had some reservists who couldn't even afford to drive in for drill. A couple hundred bucks for a weekend was a BIG deal to them. "They're just reservists" is an attitude of disposability.

And then - beyond the personal side - there's the issues of unit morale, your relationships with the unit if you actually were to activate, and attrition.

Sobel vs Winters. Just because you're operating within your structural allowance doesn't make you a leader.

Which is a fair belief to have. But those definitions have legal meaning. especially in regard to UCMJ. Rank and file simply cannot dictate their own policy. The term "above my pay grade" exists for a reason.
