27 of the top 30 homicide rates have Democrat mayors. You list Texas multiple times but Dallas and Houston are both Blue, not Red!

1. What percentage of red state crime is due to the failure of Democrats to control the borders? I'm sure it's heavily skewed towards the southern (red) states.

This thread failed from the start when the OP's title, naming states, didn't match the premise of his argument…which involves cities.

State is obviously the wrong level of analysis. It is not granular enough of a look and obviously averages out important data.

We need to look by county or municipality if we are going to judge political policy effects on crimes as almost all crime is local.

And once again, we see which end Whistle Pig whistles out of……Bless your heart, you must think Indiana's lax gun laws are responsible for Chicago's weekend slaughters, too.

Probably because it's somehow white conservatives' fault that black people in big cities kill each other at an alarming rate. It's definitely not white liberals' fault. The liberals have pushed for equity in our justice system by decriminalizing or reducing sentences for violent crimes or not prosecuting violent crimes, getting rid of racist cash bail, and reducing the funding for police to hire and train adequate staff. With that much equity in the progressive policies, how could people possibly be so emboldened to think committing crimes is easy and free? Nope. Not the liberals' fault. Crime should be going down with those wonderful equity policies. It's gotta be those damn evil conservatives. By moving out to the suburbs for safer neighborhoods and better schools, and going to places like work every day and church every week, it's easy to see how they are definitely the evil enemy who cause all the black on black violence in American cities.
