My Williamson cty precinct was flooded with betas. Best thing to see on Wednesday morning(trash day) were all the signs in the trash.

What this article doesn't quite elude to is that the democrat will always win the major cities and the republican will win the rural or perhaps the suburban area most people will agree to that.

This fact we can be fine with, the difference in winning is getting all the republicans in the rural and in the strong red areas to vote . We will beat the democrats every time if all registered Republicans will get out and vote regardless of how many Democrats vote in the major cities there are way more of us than them.

If you go out to East Texas where I grew up in Longview which is 85% Republican problem is sometimes only 65% of those Republicans vote and if 20% of your voting block is not voting that's sometimes why the Republicans barely squeak out statewide elections it's not because there are more democrats it's because we didn't get all of our people to vote.

Like I said, my neighborhood voted for Abbott by a margin of 7. That's in about 4000 votes.

I can guarantee it will go blue in the next election as many old people will die and younger, more liberal people take their places. It's a well established neighborhood that's getting younger by the month.

On the flip side, found out another couple is "done with texas" and is moving to Colorado this summer. That's the second one this year

As expected, my hood went for Beto although by a smaller margin than I expected.

Fascinating map. You can see where all of the smart people (not Beto voters) live in the big cities.

Good tool for planning a move inside a big city.

Yeah, but you have a massive moat with two chokepoints to fend off us left wing Dallasites.

Planning to start searching for a house to buy in January (I'm sorry to all of you, the market will crash once I do, per usual) and this map will come in very handy for me.

My brother-in-law said he moved to Rockwall because if a "culture war" (my choice of words, not his) ever breaks out "we can blow the bridges".

Yikes. Pretty disheartening. A lot of precincts I thought would go red did not. Thank goodness for rural Texas.

Cedar Park and Round Rock were already purple and headed blue.
