This is what it looks like when you let morons make decisions. Their ineptitude is a national security risk.

1) Allowing companies to do what they feel is economically best for them is the right answer.
2) Looks like from a policy standpoint there is no WH consistency. Don't drill. Export is good. Please sell to us. This project will release CO2, and kill us all.

Where is he going to get the oil from?

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

Seems pretty consistent, the only hurdle put up is permitting and drilling on federal lands.

That's the chess move. He shifted his defense of a Knight to pull his Queen. He...ahem, his handlers will spin all the tangents into a squeaky clean policy nonreversal, just a pragmatic solution to multiple economic and national interests and problems, while doubling down on the green rhetoric and incentives.

So you are suggesting the WH rhetoric on the issue is consistent with the actions here?

Nobody in the climate change movement quoted in the article(of a left leaning media outlet) agree with your assessment here.

Oh, campaigning on putting them out of business, castigating them when they make money, and releasing oil from the SPR to artificially lower the prices of their products. I agree. He's consistent.

This is just a dumb lie. He flat out said he's going to end oil and gas. It's on video. He then implemented multiple EOs against the domestic industry while campaigning abroad for more foreign production . He then quietly approves other deals like this one.

Seems pretty clear to me…. Limit domestic production and make it possible to export as much as possible to keep domestic prices high. A high domestic price ensures the green energy sector can be more sustainable and provide a return on that investment.

Poor Trump deserves it!

Absolutely bizarre the emotional investment some have in a politician that doesn't care at all about them or conservatism

It's not a merit badge, it's who is best to lead the country from '25-29. If you think Trump at his age and with his baggage and flaws is the best choice that's fine but this "if Republicans abandon him" crap is so tired. If he can't win the GOP primaries he isn't the guy. If Trump can win I'll vote for him over any Democrat but the "I'm going to take my ball and go home if it is anyone but Trump" garbage is lunacy.

Oh, and love the latest "own goal" of having dinner with Nick Fuentes. Brilliant move to hang out with an actual racist who is a Holocaust Denier.

SPOT was planned and ready for design and construction pending permitting in the Summer of 2020. Idea was to find international markets for Chevron's equity light sweet WTI + Enterprise Pipeline commitments since the Pasadena refinery had limited capacity and reliability.

Pascagoula was set up to run heavy sour, mostly out of Venezuela, with dwindling supplies of Maya from Mexico. They were bringing in M100 from Russia when I left, but that looks like it stopped in April of this year.

I tried to do a quick look, but it's hard to find that info. It appears that another option was floated for a terminal closer to Houston, another further up from SPOT in the Port A area.

Gotta be someone more in the know than I who could pinpoint them.

Hypnotic leftists are the scariest animal on the planet.

They will literally accept any dogma they are fed and defend it with full throated conviction despite any basis in logic.

So weird. So scary.

It appears one of the others was off coast of Corpus Christi but EPA recently pulled that permit.

This flies in the face of everything else this admin has done wrt energy policy. If things don't make sense there's probably an underlying reason like a) personal financial benefits , or b) favor to some foreign interest that wants it.

I suppose the other possibility is let specific people invest major $ in the project and then don't permit it thus transferring more $ and power from them to elsewhere.

Why are you pissed at DeSantis? He hasn't said anything about Trump, despite Trump calling him 3rd grade level names. DeSantis has been busy installing the biggest Republican win in Fla in decades.

Dont post drunk. It makes you look foolish
