What's so perfect about this one is that most road side gas stations in Cali are dumps. Many of them with coin operated entry into nightmare bathrooms.

Had one Cali based friend that simply would not believe my description of Buccees until I sent him a picture.

No. I'm pretty sure it's your attitude. I never got to experience everything Seattle has to offer while I was stationed up there, but I'm not a condescending ***** to people when they say "Oh man…you've got to check out X, Y or Z. It's pretty cool."

I was at the Temple Buc-ees today for the first time and the whole half of the store was a boutique with Christmas crap and Bucees swag! Last time I was at the New Braunfles location and they didnt have nearly all that stuff.

I really wanted the holiday stuffie but I resisted!

During the Plandemic, we've learned to only stop at Truck Stops on road trips in California.
There a a couple Punjabi ones in the Central Valley but otherwise, it's Love's or Pilot Flying J and that's the only place we'll stop. Everything else is way too sketchy.

I had a huge laugh when the Timpani said the gas pumps must be wrong at $2.99/gal.
I was in Texas last weekend and paid $2.97/gal. to fill up the rental car before I turned it in at Austin Bergstrom.

Luckily, when I got back to California, gas was still $6.45/gal so I felt at home.

I love Buc-ees and will routinely spend $100 or more if I go there without my husband. I've bought gifts, Christmas decorations...even a Buc-ees bikini!
