It isn't about who most on here would vote for. We all know that is Trump. He couldn't even beat Biden. Yes the deck was stacked against him, but he just doesn't have the ability to get middle of the road people. He is damaged goods thanks to the full on media campaign against him. Him running just screams Beto/Abbott. Abbott isn't exactly liked but Beto is/was damaged goods so it wasn't even remotely close.

I'm all aboard for DeSantis. But if trump is the nominee then I'll Vogt for him, thought I won't want to. I'd only do so because all liberals are trash. However I also realize most people don't share the hatred, even if they share most of my conservative ideology.

We have do he pragmatic and calculating. We cannot win independents with trump. We just can't.

Just because of his base that won't ever leave him, he'll have a shot at the nomination. But based on his comments today, I think DeSantis is willing to fight.

It would be hilarious to see DeSantis smoke Don by 20 points. I'm sure he'll claim it was rigged. It'll be interesting.
